What a fantastic quote! And really, I can only imagine what kind of harassment she probably had to endure— not just from paparazzi (although it’s insane how easily she got mobbed when she became internationally famous — to the point where she actually got physically injured and had her retina detached from a photographer taking a close-up photo of her!) but also from normal people.
No wonder she gave it all up after about 20 years of fame and just retreated to her own private world.
